Description |
High School on Washington St. Constructed in 1916. The building served as Baker City's high school from 1917 until 1951, when it became part of the Junior High School after the present high school on E St. was built. The building was designed by famous Oregon architect Ellis Fuller Lawrence (November 13, 1879–February 27, 1946). In 1914, he helped found and was the first dean of the University of Oregon's School of Architecture and Allied Arts, a position he held until his death. No image attached.
