Description	Circuit Court Judge Robert Eakin. From 1906 to 1913 he was a justice of the Oregon Supreme Court. He presided over the trial of Pleasant Armstrong, who was hanged on 1-22-1904, Baker County's only legal hanging. Eakin resided in Union, Oregon. His court had jurisdiction in both Baker and Union counties. There are two images attached to this record.
