Description	Ison family relative ValJean Ison Wright. Below is an email from her received 10-18-2016, after she discovered Ison photos on the library's website. The email has been edited to omit some information not pertinent to this website. There is no photo attached to this record. Hi Gary, My father, Lew Ison, came to Utah in about 1938, and his siblings followed him. This left his mother and father in Baker, Oregon, where they spent the rest of their lives. Both sides of my father's family migrated to Oregon by the Oregon Trail. My grandfather was Grover Cleveland Ison. My grandmother's name was Lyla Madelaine Eads. Grandfather was an only child and so my father considered his fathers' cousins as his cousins also since he had no first relationships. My family mainly are the Kings, Fullers, Isons, and Eads.
