Description |
Joseph and Mary Ensminger Henner. Joseph: 1868-1938? Mary: 1878-1950. They had a farm between Haines and Muddy Creek. Their farm was where at 1 a.m. Christmas Day 1902, as a Christmas Eve dance broke up, Pleasant Armstrong shot his girlfriend, Minnie Ensminger, sister of Mary Henner. Minnie died three days later. Pleas was hanged for the crime January 22, 1904, on the grounds of the Baker County Courthouse. |
