| Description |
Josef Neuberger at his residence, 1397 2nd. He was father of Gert, Bert, and Hans. He died in 1961 at age 81. As a Jew, he and his wife, Jette, and son Hans, fled persecution in Germany and came to Baker City in December 1940. He was a nephew of Clara Heilner, wife of Sigmund Heilner, founder of the Neuberger-Heilner store. |
