Description	Neuberger family tree ("Stammbaum" in German), starting with Gert (9-27-1914 to 9-3-2006), Bert (9-3-1916 to 3-19-2001), and Hans Neuberger (7-9-1924 to 1-1-1997). Gerson and Berthold Neuberger, brothers of the father, Josef, of Gert, Bert, and Hans. The elder Gerson and Berthold worked at the Neuberger-Heilner store for 60 years. They came to Baker City in about 1900 to work in the store of their aunt, Clara Neuberger Heilner, wife of Sigmund Heilner, founder of the Neuberger-Heilner store in 1874. They lived in the Heilner house at 1839 2nd and worked in the store the rest of their lives, dying in the 1960s. Gerson and Berthold never married. Their nephews, Bert and Hans, also never married. Hermann David, cousin of Gert, Bert, and Hans, came to Baker City with Gert in 1934 to work in the Heilner store with their uncles, Gerson and Berthold.
