Description	Denham, Margaret May (1885-1960). She married Dr. Albert Tiedemann (1884-1938) on September 22, 1915, at her parent's home at 1507 3rd in Baker City. May graduated from Baker High School in 1904 and taught a year in the one-room log Stewart School in Bowen Valley. Then she taught at South Baker School, where she became principal. Dr. Tiedemann was a long-time member of the 5J school board. When he died suddenly at age 53, South Baker School was renamed Tiedemann School. The school took back its original name when the 1901 building was replaced by the present structure in 1952.
