Lilah Virtue and son, Ted. Lilah Virtue married Edward Thomas Hardy 11-20-1887. Edward was a wholesale liquor merchant. They had two children:
Eleanor Hardy, born 4-13-1889 in Baker City, died 3 months later on 7-27-1889 (cause unknown)
Edwin "Ted" Robert Hardy, born 8-17-1891 in Baker City, died 1-29-1964 in San Francisco
Edward Hardy left Lilah not long after the birth of their son and never returned. Lilah raised Ted alone and never remarried. |
