Description	Margaret "Maggie" Gooding Denham (1866-1939) portrait. Maggie was born 3-30-1866 in New London, Ontario, Canada, to Francis Gooding of England and Margaret Russell Gooding of Scotland. The family moved to Oregon in 1881. Maggie married Hugh Emmet Denham 6-18-1884 in Baker City. They moved to Colorado for a couple of years, then to La Grande. They had six children: Margaret May 6-11-1885 in Pueblo, Colorado Died 1960 William Francis 4-14-1887 in La Grande Died 1942 Roy Archibald 7-29-1889 in La Grande Died 1932 Ethel Ester 2-22-1893 in Baker City Died 1900 (diphtheria) Earle Oliver 9-11-1897 in Baker City Died 1975 Lloyd Ronald 9-5-1901 in Baker City Died 1968
