Description	John William Wisdom, 3-15-1840 to 3-24-1938, and Mary Elizabeth Sturgill Wisdom, 9-12-1853 to 1937. Married in Wingville 6-14-1868. John Wisdom and Dr. Boyd opened a drug store on SW corner of Main and Valley streets in 1867. John learned the trade from Boyd and then bought him out the next year. John retired in 1917 due to illness.
