This photo was donated by Eilene Baird Huntsman, whose grandmother, Jennie Baisley, is seated second from left in front row.
James and Jennie Baisley built (?) and lived in what we call today the Adler House in the 2200 block of Main Street. Sam Baisley was brother of James.
Jennie (Sarah) J. JASPER was born on 10 Nov 1855 in Corvallis, Benton, OR. She died on 15 Jun 1931 in Baker City, Baker, OR. (8) She was buried about 18 Jun 1931 in IOOF Cemetery #25, Mount Hope, OR. Buried in Lot 35, Grave 2. Parents: William Carroll JASPER and Mary OWENSBY.
She was married to James L. BAISLEY on 16 Mar 1879 in Baker City, Baker, OR. Married at the home of Mr. Bunyan. Children were: Ethel Rena BAISLEY, Ivy Pearl BAISLEY, Jennie Leona BAISLEY, Emma Malinda BAISLEY, Florence Carroll BAISLEY, Tottie Mabel BAISLEY , Ada Leonora BAISLEY.
