| Description |
SVRy logging train wreck in 1938. Location is in Susanville area near Jungle Creek, a tributary of Middle Fork of John Day River. Engineer was Burton Miller and Frank Mattoon was brakeman. The train had 15 log cars on a 2 1/4-miles spur off the SVRy line.
