Description	SVRy. Oregon Lumber Co. shay # 102 or # 101 on Whitney Flat toward Clifford Station from Hale's ranch. Brooks Hawley note: Photo is from a postcard stamped Oct. 7, 1915, addressed to Mrs. Jane Tibbs. Claude Green is on top loading. Bill Johnson on left. Frank Carnes on right. Al Harding, engineer, running hoist [sitting on front of engine]. Notice that some of the logs are "sniped," that is beveled to skid easier with horses.
