Description |
Red Boy Mine. Note on back of photo identifies people in front of cabin as "Grandma Sheedy and Tim." Grandma is probably Tim's wife. Tim Sheedy is mentioned as the person who located the Helen Fraction of the Concord Mine in James Waucop Tabor's book "Granite and Gold," edited by Tabor's daughter, Theresa Tabor Fowler, donor of these photos. The book says (p. 81) Margaret Sheedy was mother of Margaret Sheedy Tabor, who is mother of Walkie Tabor, who was father of Theresa Tabor Fowler. |
