Three Cent Placer Mine. Located 1.8 miles NE of Greenhorn City. Tunnel entrance in winter. Purpose of tunnel was to find the placer channel, not a quartz, hard rock mine. The mine was located near the top of the mountain between Sumpter and Whitney. |
