Description	Dredge. Porter dredge near Granite. Brooks Hawley note: The Porter Dredge in the Granite country upstream from Porterville on Bull Run Creek, spring of 1939. The Porter Dredge went the most of 14 miles, ending a good share of the way to Greenhorn. Its period was 1938 to 1951. At the last itwas moved to Crane Flats but did almost nothing there and was moved away in 1953. It was smaller than the Sumpter Valley dredges but had plenty of go. It had 4 1/2 cu. ft. buckets.
