Dredge. Porter at Granite. During construction in 1938 or 1939.
Brooks Hawley note: Building the Porter Dredge by John Coleman's Meadow Brook farm this side [east] of Granite. This dredge began work in Sept. 1939, possibly 1938. After the dredge was moved to Crane Flat, it quit in 1951. It was moved away in 1953.
