Description	Dredge #3 (Sumpter Valley) . Under construction. Building the super-structure. Brooks Hawley notes: "Here the bull gears are in place that run the bucket line. But the ladder and bucket line is not yet in place, although the front gantry is ready for the cable and pulleys that support the digging end of the ladder. This part of the construction was after the hull had been launched. Earl Robinson claims the last dredge (#3) would not dig as deep as dredge #1, because it was not right for ladder to hang low, cramped at the save-all."
