| Description |
Burnt River Mine. This may not be the correct name of the mine. The word "Dragline" is on the back of the photo.
An old-time miner, Craig Linscott, in 1992 identified this mine as being on the slope of the south side of Burnt River Canyon about two miles downstream from Bridgeport. He said there was a tunnel with an air hole at the top. Presumably this is the top of the tunnel. |
