Rust's Hall and Pacific Brewery (drawing). Rust's Hall destroyed by fire ca. 1898. Two images attached, sepia and black/white. Image is an ad in the January 6, 1888, edition of the Baker City Tribune, It has the same signs on brewery as image 1981.1.166. Henry Rust owned both of these buildings. Rust's Hall was used for the presentation of plays and music performances before the Baker City Opera House was built two blocks north in 1898. Note that the Geiser Grand Hotel across the street to the south of the brewery had not been built yet.
