Description Old Post Office Square, ca. 1900. Significant buildings: Center left long building is Greer stable, where Hotel Baker stands today; mansion is middle, now site of Chevron station, used to be a brothel until 1906; lower right is western part of Chinatown; pointed building at top center is old Center School, grades 1-12 until elementary schools were built, today site of middle school; steeple at far right belongs to the Methodist Church.
