Description Weil & Co. main show room. (Summarized.) Maximillian Weil and Carl Dilsheimer are partners. In July 1887 they succeeded Bamberger & Frank in the old White House building, which they occupied until the fire burned out that block. They then had a building built for them by Baer & Block, which they occupied until they moved into their own building in August 1895. It is one of the most substantial brick buildings in town. (1899 city directory has address as 1833 Front. By 1903 the store had moved to 2019-2029 Front.)
